Message from the maker

My name is Gunasekar. I am 34 years old and have been working in the factory for 6 years. I have found my speciality in making Coir Beds, Coir Discs, Coir Scrubbers. My job at the factory provides me with good, satisfying work. I live in Pollachi with my family. I have one daughter, she is a student. I really hope you remember me and my work when you use the scourers. I am so happy that these Coir Scrubbers has been used by generations after generations here until those plastic based scrubbers came into the market, Now its good to see we are all going back how our ancestors lived plastic free and in harmony with the environment.

End of life

When the coconut dish scrubber is no longer scrubbing your dirty dishes well, you can use it as a soap dish to put the soap block on. Or you can throw the scrubber at your best friends head. Long as the scrubber lands on a patch of grass, it will biodegrade. If you want to speed up the breaking down of the scrubber, simply bury it underground or put it in your home compost. If your council collects food waste for composting, you can also put the coconut scrubber in the food waste bin.
