SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS

• Cork is harvested naturally without harming the tree. The cork oak forests in Portugal offset ten million tonnes of carbon every year. It continues to absorb C02 as a LIGA product.
• Cork is harvested by hand every nine years, a natural process that supports the health and regeneration of the tree
• Cork oak forests absorb 32 million tonnes of CO₂ each year - protecting and using cork helps preserve these vital carbon-storing ecosystems
